Lauralyn Bay Magic

(Princeton x  Shaylyn Mizala)

S18801~ 16hands ~ Stallion

Firstly I would like to thank Dr. Jim Reilly at Forth Valley Vet Clinic for Magic's existance here at Lauralyn Arabians

While Magic was being born his dam showed no recognition

of  foaling at all and was wandering around oblivious to it all.  Luck also played its part in that Jim was only a couple of kilometres away at the time and rushed around and managed to pull him out with his calf pullers

Magic is a dynamic big bold bay stallion standing 16 hands who has a lot of presence and style. He was bred here at Lauralyn Arabians and has always been a favorite with his friendly easy going  nature. He is by the great endurance sire Princeton out of the 1986 Reserve Australian Champion Futurity Filly and Multi Supreme Champion mare Shaylyn Mizala (Naaman Gala Fashion  x  Misham) He has 6 crosses to Shahzada in his pedigree as well as crosses to some of the great Arabians, Silver Moonlight, Silwan, Banderol, Riffal and Arabian Park Egyptian Magnetic.

Although a bit slower maturing due to his size, he has grown into a big, well conformed stallion.  His long floating stride, light ground covering movement and balanced paces makes him a fantastic riding horse as well as his great easy going personality.  Magic is a yellow logbook endurance horse and he has also won at halter - Champion, Reserve Champion, Classic Head, Classic Trot & Statebred.  In February 2006 he was shown under saddle for the first time and was awarded 1st Ridden Stallion at the NW Allbreeds Show.

His foals usually have plenty leg under them and have their sire's type and movement and his people orientated attitude.  Some are excelling in endurance racing overseas in the UAE.

Oh-Jay, an Anglo Arabian by Magic, in 2011 won the Sheik Mohammad Al Maktoum FEI *** 160km race in a time of 6hrs and 36mins and was placed 2nd in the 3 x 80km 3 day 240km race.

Malricia TC Taca won the 2012 National Day Cup and has placed in FEI races in the UAE

Malricia Jillagic has been quite successful having won 4 races and top 5 and top 10  in races with 100 - 200 competitors in the UAE including winning the 2013 120km Qatar Int. Endurance Cup

Shardell Nazik has been exported overseas after completing his first 40km in Australia and has now sucessfully completed an FEI* 80km and CEN 100km.

We also congratulate Toni Furlonge on her successes in the Dressage field with the Arabian Warmblood mare Nerrina Letitia
