Welcome to Lauralyn Arabians website

We are in the process of building a new website as our site www.lauralynarabians.com is experiencing problems.  This site is gradually being built time permiting so hope you can bear with us for awhile and enjoy looking at our horses.

Lauralyn Arabians   was formed in 1990 with the combining of Lyn's Shaylyn Arabian Stud established 1970 and Laurie's Laurjil Arabian Stud established 1975.

The Stud is situated at the foot of Black Bluff in the picturesque Leven Canyon area on the NW coast of Tasmania

At Lauralyn Arabians we are striving to breed functional Arabians with Arabian type and athletic ability to perform under saddle. For the past 27 years we have been involved in the Endurance scene with nine Tom Quilty Buckles in the family.

Our foundation Stallions were multi-supreme Champion Halter & Performance horse Naaman Gala Fashion and the Australian renowned trick horse Star of Arabia Sir Ghazal.

The studs original foundation mares were the well performed

1985 Aust. Champion Top Ten, Wataba, 1992 Reserve Aust Champion mare Shazilla and the 1986 Res. Aust. Champion futurity filly Shaylyn Mizala, Milands Gay Fashion and Godiva.

in 1991 Princeton was purchased from Rod & Sally Strahan of Shardell Arabians.   In 2000 a half share was sold back to Rod and for eight years Princeton was a shuttle stallion between Qld and Tasmania in the spring and summer.   In 2005 Princeton made his last trip to Qld.

Along side of the Princeton son Lauralyn Bay Magic we had the Straight Egyptian stallion Prince Of Egypt who was being used over our big Princeton mares.  Prince Of Egypt has now crossed the water to New Zealand and is Senior sire at Holly farm in

David's Al Badi Straight Egyptian program as well as the domestic program

We hope you enjoy looking at our Arabians.
